Por seis meses, a Nalc irá receber R$ 929,9 mil.
O diretor-presidente da Trensurb, Pedro Bisch Neto, disse que solicitou à empresa “uma força-tarefa para no menor tempo possível, tenhamos o serviço pleno dos equipamentos à disposição da população”. Em todo o sistema metroviários são 50 escadas rolantes para melhorar o fluxo dos usuários e 29 elevadores para condução de deficientes físicos, idosos e pessoas com dificuldades de locomoção. A Estação Petrobras, única estação em todo o sistema que não possui esses equipamentos, deverá receber um elevador e as demais estações onde não há elevadores, receberão uma unidade cada uma. As licitações estão em andamento e o prazo de instalação é de até 12 meses.
Os trabalhos foram iniciados na quinta-feira (23) e prosseguiram durante a madrugada. Das 25, 18 já foram consertadas. Restam sete: nas estações Mercado, em Porto Alegre; Canoas e Mathias Velho, em Canoas; Esteio; Santo Afonso e Novo Hamburgo, em Novo Hamburgo.
