Ele que é professor com doutorado em educação, ex-ouvidor municipal e que foi presidente do Comitê de Transparência do atual governo municipal, também faz trabalhos sociais, como com a cooperativa Univale, distribuindo sabão e máscara nas comunidades de São Leopoldo. “O sabão caseiro é tão eficiente quanto o álcool gel. Começamos então a ir nos bairros a entregar sabão e máscara. Gerou uma grande rede de solidariedade e já distribuímos 4 mil barras de sabão.”
