Após 18 anos de funcionamento na Rua Independência, a Katy Esportes, uma das três lojas da mesma marca, fechou as portas. O motivo é a crise provocada pela pandemia coronavírus, que tem entre suas consequências, o fechamento do comércio para evitar a expansão do vírus.
Gerente das lojas da Katy em São Leopoldo, há mais de 20 anos, Max Anderson Müller, lamenta profundamente a situação. “O motivo é a crise. Demitimos 18 pessoas. Um estagiário, 6 pessoas em contrato e o restante dos vendedores”, relatou Max, hoje, enquanto desmontava o mobiliário para limpeza e entrega da sala.
Hoje também integrantes da Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas (CDL), Sindilojas e Associação Comercial Industrial, Serviços e Tecnologia (Acist), devem fazer mais uma conversa com o governo Vanazzi, sobre flexibilização do comércio.
Quarta-feira (22) entidades e governo tiveram uma conversa virtual, considerada positiva. O que as entidades pedem é que a flexibilização do comércio ocorra antes do dia 30, data do decreto municipal. Presidente da CDL, Olinto Menegon, reforça que a flexibilização é funcionamento gradual, nos mesmos critérios dos supermercados, com limitação de clientes, uso de máscara, segurança e higienização.
O Município vive a situação de calamidade pública. O decreto municipal segue as determinações do decreto estadual com restrições para evitar a rápida expansão do vírus, o que significaria todas as pessoas buscarem atendimento médico num mesmo período.
Assessor de Relações Institucionais do gabinete do prefeito, Ibanês Mariano, diz que o governo reforçou o diálogo com as entidades. “Estamos buscando preservar, diante do crescimento dos casos de covid-19, a saúde da população. Buscando fórmulas onde o governo federal não quer se colocar, que é na sustentação econômica jogando a responsabilidade para estados e Município”, destacou. Traduzindo a fala politicamente correta, antes do dia 30, o comércio não deverá funcionar com restrições.
